Welcome to the website for the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC)-- your doorway to programs and services. These services are located in the communities where seniors and adults with physical disabilities live.

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the Department of Human Services received two federal grants (in 2003 and 2006) to help coordinate services for seniors and people with disabilities.

The grants from the Administration on Aging and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is to establish "one-door" access to services that will help people age in place. In New Jersey , this is called the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC). It has been successfully tested in Atlantic and Warren Counties and will be expanded to five more counties by 2009.

New Jersey was one of the first 12 states to receive an ADRC grant. Today, 44 states are participating in this initiative.
